My name is Karen and I am married with 2
children, who have now left home, and 1
grandson.
I worked as a nursery practitioner for 27 years
and in September 2025 I took retirement.

I started make jewellery as a hobby and when I
stopped working I found myself during the winter
months making more jewellery and close family
members showed interested in what I was
making.
During the Christmas period more extended
family members saw and enjoyed my jewellery
and this encouraged me to think about making
jewellery for sale and now I’m giving it go.
